The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
